POL 351 Latinx Politics - This class examines contemporary Latinx politics. We begin with a broad introduction to the subject of Latinx Politics, including a review of Latinx subgroup histories and panethnic identity. We then move on to a focus on politics, including the development of political identities and partisanship, public opinion, and electoral and non-electoral participation. We conclude with a focus on the issue of immigration politics. Prerequisites: ENG 102 “C-” or better, POL 150
