MKT 443 Marketing Data Science - This course is an introduction to application of data science in marketing. Covers the role of data science in marketing process, segmentation, product policy, pricing decisions, promotion, and distribution. Emphasizes application of Python, SQL, Statistics skills, and analytical thinking in Marketing. Specifically, the main objectives of the course are:
Gain a foundational understanding of concepts and tools of Marketing Data Science
Develop job-relevant skills with hands-on projects
Level: 300, Upper division course
Time distribution (Lecture 1.5 hours per week, laboratory 1.5 hours per week)
Prerequisites: MKT 335, MKT 337, MTH 251, MKT 216
