Description

HRM 315 EMPLOYMENT LAW: This course examines U.S. labor law with a review ofcontemporary California employment law, including laws relating to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, accommodations, wage and hour requirements, worker classification, and leaves of absence. The course will focus on the practical application of these employment laws to the work of human resource professionals. Experiential learning elements of this course include case analyses and research-related projects. Prerequisite: HRM 300
