Description

HRM 300 PRINCIPLES OF HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT: This course provides an overview of the practice of effective human resource management. Topics include the roles and functions of HRM, the legal environment, staffing (HR planning, job analysis, recruitment and selection), performance management (performance evaluation, compensation, motivation, training an development), and workplace safety and wellness. Experiential learning elements of this course include case analyses and research-related projects. Prerequisite: MGT 101, ECO 200, ENG 102 "C-" or better
