BIO 400 S Special Topics - The 400 level 3 unit course provides a mechanistic understanding of the Human Brain. The goal is to provide a top-down biological approach to the elusive organ. The course is meant to serve as a complement to Human Biology and the current Psychology Degree Requirements. This lecture offers students who plan to pursue higher education in neuroscience/psychology/human biology a basis for a holistic understanding of the Human Brain. Additionally, emphasizing methods of scientific research; methods of study, pathology of disease states, and scientific peer-review.PREREQ: BIO 101
