SSC 501 Sport Sociology - This course provides an overview of the intersection of phys-ical activity with modern and historical social issues. This course provides students with an overview of the historical and contemporary issues regarding a range of social issues in sport and activity (including race, class, the economy, technology, and popular culture). In this course, students will participate in and facilitate conversations about social issues. Prerequisites: PSY 500, PSY 509
