PSY 318 S - Special Topics: Adolescent Psychology. This course studies the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical changes that occur during adolescence. Topics covered include identity development, peer relationships, family dynamics, moral reasoning, risk-taking behaviors, mental health, and cultural influences. This upper-division, course provides an in-depth examination of the psychological development and behavior of adolescents.
