    Description

    PSY 309 SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGY This course studies the intersection of psychology and sociology, and addresses the extent to which individual behavior is formed and controlled by social groups. The influence of individual behavior on the nature of groups will also be considered. Students will examine principles of crowd behavior, prejudice, public opinion,aggression, obedience, cooperation, and leadership. Applications to business, the legal system, and healthcare will be addressed. Prerequisites: PSY 101, ENG 102 “C-” or better
