Description

PSY 201 Research Methods in Psychology - This course introduces students to key research skills, empirical methodologies and evaluation techniques used in the social sciences. This will involve both qualitative and quantitative methods, the literature review process. Students will learn to read and evaluate research articles and procedures, develop original research questions and design research procedures to answer those questions. Students will also learn to write APA style manuscripts. Prerequisites: PSY 101, ENG 102 "C-" or beter; Math 251 "C" or better
