Description
MCM 333 BUSINESS COMMUNICATION This course will introduce students to the competencies and tools they need to be successful professionals in a dynamic 21st century workplace. Students will use critical thinking to research and assess how their skills, interests, and goals match various majors and career opportunities. Once students have a clearer understanding of themselves, the course will prepare them for internships and jobs by engaging them in developing critical professional written and oral communication skills. Specific learning activities include: creating compelling resumes, LinkedIn profiles, and cover letters; and developing strong networking and interviewing skills. Students will effectively craft written communication for different organizational scenarios, considering the audience, goal, and most appropriate medium.
