MCM 265 MOCK TRIAL - This course will have students prepare, practice, and execute criminal trial competitions designed to increase an understanding of the judicial system and the processes necessary to create a just society. Students will work with faculty and Center for Public Speaking staff to prepare their version of a criminal case. As students assume the roles of attorneys, witnesses, clerks, and bailiffs, they learn teamwork, public speaking, and critical thinking skills. Credit/No Credit course. Prerequisite or corequisite: MCM 257. Required for Interdisciplinary Studies and Psychology Students.
