Description

FIN 462 MONEY AND BANKING This course purports to introduce and develop the economic rationale that has led to the evolution and growth of the modern banking system in the UnitedStates since the early Nineteenth century. The course analyzes the structure and function of commercial and savings banks in the United States, reviews the workings of the Federal Reserve system and its primary instruments of monetary control, and explores in detail the regulatory issues confronting the banking sector today.
