Description
ENG 103 ENGLISH PROFICIENCY EXAM(0 UNITS): This no credit course tracks the progress of students towards passing the English Proficiency Exam which should be initially taken at or near the end of ENG102. The course is graded Credit (CR) or No Credit (NC). Students will be concurrently enrolled in ENG103 with ENG 102 to insure that they take the English Proficiency Exam offered in November for fall semester enrollment and April for spring semester enrollment. If the student achieves a passing score on the EPE they will receive Credit for ENG 103. If they do not achieve a passing score they will receive No Credit and must reenroll in ENG 103 and retake the EPE each subsequent semester until a passing score is achieved. Students who wish to review their English skills in preparation for the exam are encouraged to consult with the Writing Center and will be permitted to audit any of the English composition classes offered.
