ENG 102 ENGLISH COMPOSITION 2 This course continues instruction in writing expository prose. Emphasis is placed on the critical connection between thinking and writing. Students will learn to organize and develop the argumentative and persuasive essay. Nonfiction and imaginative literature are read and discussed primarily as a basis for learning the principlesof critical thinking. Prerequisites: Placement form, ENG 101 with a “C-” or better, or an “A” in ENG 100 AND approval of ePortfolio submitted following the “ePortfolio Checklist for English 100 & 101 Appeals”. Requirement: “C-” or better
