Description
ACC 202 PRINCIPLES OF MANAGERIAL ACCOUNTING The second of a two-semester introduction to accounting. The course provides an introduction to Managerial Accounting, including value chain analysis, cost benefit analysis, ABC costing, job costing, overhead allocation, process costing, cost volume, profit analysis, standards and budgeting. Students compile and analyze Income Statements, Balance Sheets and Owner’s Equity Statements. The goal of the course is to prepare students for business decision making using accounting information.
Prerequisites: ACC 201 “C-” or better and
MTH 110 “C-” or better
